I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. I am a freelance writer, a blogger wanna-be (just starting out) and an owner of an online pet supplies shop. I enjoy traveling to new and old places, reading books that are necessary to me, spending time with my family (main reason why I quit my job) and that includes my adopted shih tzu. I am a sucker for all things old (or vintage), used (with a lot of history), cheap, vegan and DIY (even if I haven't tried any DIY stuff except for my handmade letters). I have a certain fondness for animals. I think they are God's gift to us, humans, and they are just beautiful to see (even better to touch, for some). 

For 5 years, I worked for IBM. In October 2011, I left my seemingly ideal job to fulfill a dream of opening an online retail business and doing freelance jobs. It was also the same year that I adopted two wonderful dogs that changed my life. I am still in love with the same boy who I met in 2002 and got in a relationship with in 2005, who I will say 'yes' to once he pops the question.

I graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science. When I was in college, I did all sorts of things that a regular college girl would do. I sang and played for a band, I wrote tons of love-crazy songs, had a boyfriend, led a thesis group, sneaked into my dorm that was run by nuns, etc. 

I was 11 years old when I learned to play the guitar. In my yearbook, my dream was to become a psychologist. I had a steady group of friends who I still consider my friends until today. I had a very 'normal' kind of childhood, not too much drama, except for the time when I lost the Casio watch my father gave me and I wanted to run away from home.
